End of life
Our pets are members of our families that we love and care for from the day they enter our lives until we have to say good-bye. No matter how long we are able to share our lives with them, having to face losing them is extremely stressful and emotional. We are here to help both you and your pet through this difficult time. Both in-clinic and mobile services are available depending on your situation. We can help with palliative care, hospice services, and the euthanasia process itself.
Palliative care involves focusing on medical and emotional care to provide relief from pain and other symptoms of serious illnesses, while hospice care concentrates on the care, comfort and quality of life of a pet who is approaching the end of life. Both may include in-person or virtual visits as well as communication via email and text between the pet parent and veterinary professionals. Our goal is to help you and your pet to be able to spend as much quality, meaningful time together as possible.
When the time comes that euthanasia becomes the most humane option for your pet, we will help make it the most peaceful, stress-free experience possible. Whether we come to you, or you come to us, every effort will be made to have a calm atmosphere, pain and anxiety medication, inclusion of family members, and options for aftercare. We have all sadly experienced this journey with our own pets and want to be here to comfort and support you and your beloved fur baby through this difficult time.
